St Luke’s Lutheran Church is an established Lutheran community in the New South Wales/Victorian border town of Albury. We are a welcoming community, keen to share Jesus with others, and living by grace, faith and hope in the love of God.
Worship: Sunday 9.30am
St Luke’s Lutheran church is a faith community within the Lutheran Church of Australia. Lutherans are one of the largest protestant denominations globally, second only to the Roman Catholic Church. In Australia, much of our Lutheran roots are German, although we have some Scandinavian and Baltic state influence among us.
Essentially, though, we are an AUSTRALIAN church, finding ways to bring the gospel into our Australian context, lifestyle, and experience.
St Luke’s has been in Albury for over 75 years, and many of our members are well known in the town and local region. We have all ages worshipping with us, from infants to a rich collection of over 90’s, all of whom enjoy our blended style of worship and focus on being engaged relationally with one another.
We’d love to see new people join our community, and will always put on a smile and a g’day. Make sure when you visit to join us for morning tea, something our people know how to do really well
